My Thoughts and views about the movie Enola Holmes

Enola Holmes, directed by Henry Bradbeer is a decently crafted tale about the same character, who is the younger sister of the fictional superstar Detective Sherlock Holmes. A technically well-made movie because of the huge sets of London from the past era probably 100 or more years, the cinematography and the art direction.

Being a huge fan of the character and the franchise of Sherlock Holmes, this movie was going to be a pleasant walk on the cake experience and it delivered. It was subtle, classy and fast-paced. This movie being female-centric took the perfect reason to fight against the oppression that the women were subjected to back in the day. Unfortunately for us, things haven’t changed much.

The music of the movie by Daniel Pemberton is pleasant and gives enough highs over the course of the movie. Millie Bobby Brown donning the titular role is exceptional alongside the Helena Bonham Carter who plays the role of the mother of the Holmes’ household Eudoria Holmes. I will not be surprised if there will be many people fanboying about Louis Partridge who played Lord Viscount Tewksbury.

It started slowly I was thinking there would be extravagant deduction scenes and plenty of mind play going on, but the way Enola’s character has been portrayed they diverted the…
