Today in this episode of Movie Snippets, I would like to recommend you the movie Court.
Directed by Chaitanya Tamahane. Starring — Vira Sathidar, Vivek Gomber, Geetanjali Kulkarni, Pradeep Joshi.
Court is a wonderful take on the present-day judiciary in India and how some people can not escape getting arrested or being jailed despite everything they can do.
This does seem like a pleasant movie that just talks about normal things but it hits you hard when you see the connection between the scenes and the reality of the outer world.
The way artists are curbed from speaking the truth and sometimes tortured despite not doing anything just because they are despised by the authorities and the ones running the political parties.
The movie is just Great storytelling where you know what the real characters are when they do their duty and when they don’t, what their ideologies and what they are fighting for.
The movie is a real eye-opener and is one of the best movies that I’ve watched over the past year.
