Writing is a form of storytelling in which words are used effectively to tell tales.
Stories can influence thoughts, imbibe values, traditions and culture, impact mindsets, instigate a change, invigorate contrasting opinions, and improve the discussion on all things under and beyond the sun.
I have been a writer since 2013, writing on different levels, academic, creative fiction, creative nonfiction, personal essays, letters and shitloads of journaling, and social media writing.
My two books, His Past and Her Future and Eternal Bond, were published in 2021 and 2022. I’ve also co-authored another book called Burning Beacons, published in 2020.
Before deciding to be a writer, I was questioning the bleak nature of my conversations and writing skills in English. I was always interested in the language and had read a fair bit of books in my childhood. I always carried a sense of doubt which was a hindrance in multiple areas of socialising or voicing my thoughts and ideas during that phase of my life.
With practice, time, experimentation, failing and getting back up and eventually learning and improving, I’m at a stage where I’m comfortable and confident in everything I do. Credit goes toward my passion for writing and desire to be a writer.
