Five blessings in my life.

Life is a blessing like someone said and we don’t treat our blessings well enough to be counted alongside our achievements and all our material possessions. I thought maybe, I should take some time out for myself and think about the things that I’m fortunate to have and here they are:

  • First and foremost blessing is that I was born and brought up with almost all the necessary organs and touchwood I’m fortunately in a better position than many others out there.
  • Having great family members and friends in my life is easily the most prominent blessing in my life because without them I’m not the person I became nor I can become the person I want to.
  • I’ve been privileged enough to get to study, play, work and do whatever I wanted to during my childhood and if that is not a blessing that many millions of kids are not lucky enough to have, I don’t know what else is.
  • I’m blessed with a great brain that allows me to think and act according to what I want to do rather than just following a few instructions that are written in a manual. I have learnt, understood, made mistakes and eventually learnt what is right and what is wrong in life. All the scope to be able to achieve all this clarity in life is a true blessing.
