I can never explain what’s going on in my head right now… this is something that is so surreal that if I think about it again, I am sure that this kind of a tryst would never happen again anytime in the next few 100 years to anyone. Is this really love?
I don’t know if this is love, I don’t know if this thing is going to be forever, I don’t know if you’re still going to talk to me tomorrow. But what I know is that this feeling is a blessing and I would like to cherish each and every second of it. Is this really love?
Does this happen to everyone who has a crush or a wonderful conversation with their loved one? Does this happen this quickly into a relationship? It’s only been a few days and I haven’t stopped thinking about you ever since we started talking. Is this really love?
Yeah, today is fine… Tomorrow is good but what about the coming week or the one after that or the next month or three years down the line? What happens then? How do we deal with this? How do we know that it lasts for long? How do we know we’re meant to be together for years to come and make our story the future relationship goals for the younger generations to come? Is this really love?
What if it’s not what we think? What if it’s just an infatuation for a week or two? What if it’s just a time pass thing? What if it’s just a passing cloud? What if it’s just another distraction found online? What if’s are never going to stop but why does every what if just feel like a probability that has the least chance to happen really in life? Why do all the events and incidents happening around me seem correct and right to me at the same time? Is this really love?
This could have been the shortest story had we both just gone with the flow… without thinking about all this.
And if this really is love? Then I would love to make it clear that…
I believe in love. A love that brings two people together, helps them grow together as better human beings, without losing their own sense of individuality. A love that helps in understanding problems and differences, accepting them and taking life forward. A love that will help us enjoy life better and to the fullest.
