There are quite a few things that I feel strongly about in general but if I have to single out something for today that would be about the lack of communication in this age of digital friendships and relationships.
We tend to spend time with people a lot online but in fact, we’re not even communicating anything. We are just killing time with worthless questions about day-to-day life and just scratch the topmost layer of an otherwise solid person and their life.
We are talking all the time but we are rarely listening to them or understanding them for who they are and what they are. We are thinking that we are there for them but instead it’s the other way around, we need that “someone” to be there for us so that we can say that we would be there for the same person. It’s like we are utilising people for our benefits when we are bored or when we’re in need or when you need to vent something out about anything that is happening in life.
The conversation is never two-way.
One person puts out everything which in fact, does not allow the other person to open as much they are already busy getting to know the person who’s telling things. But when the person who has been the receiver of the information tries to put out things the conveyor feels like they are being treated differently and would feel awkward because that never happened before and…
