Habits are deep behavioural patterns that are inculcated by people either through practice or by repeatedly performing tasks or activities. Just like writing is one of my habits which is fuelled by the passion to produce more work and get better at my skill. There are umpteen number of habits that we see day in and day out and few that we rarely come across.
Just like the positive habits we have, there are n number of negative habits as well and out of those, my most ingrained and overtly visible habit is procrastination. I even called myself a ProcrastinaSTAR somewhere. It has always been a lovey-dovey relationship between me and my procrastination. Despite hating to the core, I still manage to procrastinate and for reasons that I couldn’t figure out yet.
Procrastination, for me, is usually the complacency in doing stuff that should be done now but is easily put off to do it at a later point in time. Most of the times, the procrastinator and procrastination go hand in hand, which is, the procrastination does not want to let the procrastinator do the work and the procrastinator as a habit does not do the work because he’s gotten used to procrastinating.
